Delegation of Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai visit Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital
On the morning of May 18, 2023 (Thursday), Ms.Ravit Baer, Consul General of Israel in Shanghai , Mr.Xu Junjie, Director of Department of Governmental and Economic Affairs and Ben Cohen, Security Officer visited Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital. President Mu Genglin, vice president Zhang Bing and staffs of International Exchanges and Cooperation Department attended the reception.
On behalf of the hospital, Mr. Mu expressed warm welcome to the delegation of Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai. He introduced the history of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital. Talking about the cooperation between Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital and Israel, he said that our hospital has always maintained close ties and good communication with Israel. As early as 2017, Drum Tower Hospital has joined the "China-Israel Hospital Cooperation Alliance" and signed the letter of intent to cooperate with Sheba Medical Center. The first batch of cooperation was carried out between three disciplines,namely: rehabilitation, oncology, and urology. In November this year, we will send staff to Sheba Medical Center to perform on-site training. Subsequently, Consul General Ms. Ravit Baer said that through this field visit, she had a deeper understanding of Drum Tower Hospital, on the other side， Israel has rich medical experience in reproduction, orthopedics and trauma treatment, and hoped that both sides could explore more substantial cooperation opportunity in the future.
Afterwards, accompanied by hospital staff, the Delegation of Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai visited the hospital memorial hall and the the outpatient department.
